Here at Covenant Church we want to gather men, when the enemy wants to scatter.  We desire to create a place of refuge to restore the hearts and minds of men.  These two actions bring us to the place of discipleship.  Discipleship is a commissioning that our Lord and Master Jesus Christ commands us to do as men.  Here at Covenant Church we believe that men have anointing and power to restore and build our families, church, community, nation, and the world.  It has been stated "being born a man is a matter of birth but becoming a man is a matter of choice".  So today we urge you to join this vital part of the body of Christ – Men of Covenant! 

 

SPIRITUAL FATHERING
In 1 Cor. 4:14-15 Paul addresses a great need, "… For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers..." Men need a father figure. For many, their natural fathers most likely did not model a Christ-like lifestyle, therefore it is of absolute importance that we establish spiritual fathers, or godly mentors in their lives, who will be an example and speak divine destiny into them. All men need this kind of relationship. It not only helps validate us as men, but it also gives us a base of accountability, which is vital to our maturity in Christ. 
 
MEN'S BREAKFAST RALLY
This is a quarterly gathering to rally the troops.  We are in tough times and men need to be reminded of the warrior inside of them.  At these breakfasts you will be inspired, challenged, and empowered to fulfill the call and destiny of God on your life.  Men will need to register to attend these breakfasts. 

 

PASSION DRIVEN - LIFE TEAMS
All information and no inspiration lead to a very dull life. Passion driven life teams will center men around hobbies, vocations and other interests with the goal of building relationships and camaraderie. Passion groups will meet monthly or weekly dependent upon the leader and the activity. The main goal of this program is to give men an outlet to express the uniqueness of their personality and to a build a bridge for future in-depth mentoring groups.

 

MEN OF COVENANT SMALL GROUP ENCOUNTERS
Disconnect from the routine and plunge into a three-day weekend of activities, teaching, deep soul-searching and fellowship.  Experience lasting personal change as you reach deep into the heart and awaken your passion for greatness - the very image in which we have been created.

 

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & MISSIONS
In this program, we will take selected men to evangelize the tougher areas of Dallas and other surrounding cities. We engage in church work projects and special service days, such as minor car maintenance work for single-mothers. We have done a complete home makeover for single moms and helped churches in poor neighborhoods with renovation.  We will take road trips to devastated areas of the country and abroad and lend our hands in humanitarian work, ministry, or whatever the need. Men are project-oriented and serving our community and church is a life-changing experience.  
 
FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS
This program is geared toward the many fatherless children we have in our church. Men of Covenant will be matched through an intensive screening process and then put in a buddy-style relationship with the kids to allow for godly inspiration and guidance.

 

MEN'S OUTDOOR EVENTS & ATHLETICS
Enjoy some fishing trips, motorcycle rallies, golf and skeet-shooting events.  Put on your game face and join a MEN of COVENANT football, softball or soccer team.
